As everyone knows, Bari enjoys great attention from post-
communist Slavonic world, especially for being the city with the
Church, where Saint Nicholas' remains, patron of Russia, are kept,
and for being the seat of the largest Russian church in the Western
Europe. All this makes the efforts of the Association LIFF destined to
meet considerable interest in the cultural world, both from Italians
and Russians, because of the particularity and the uniqueness of the
event.
Great attention, it is believed in fact, can also occur especially from
the Russian emigration's world in Italy, as well as from religious
tourism linked to the cult of the bishop of Myra.
Moreover, since the period of the event, from 5 to 8 July and from
July until September with the exhibition at the Museum, it will be
considerable the presence of seasonal tourists, of citizens of Bari
coming back from holidays, of tourists passing through Bari as an
intermediate step towards others cities and regions.
